1200mmØ Aquaspira CSR Pipes for Bollin Park, Wilmslow.

Challenge

Reducing deliveries and offloading time for a development in a ‘community sensitive’ location, and minimising the programme time for installing the roads and sewers.

Solution

Selection of Aquaspira pipes reduced the number of site deliveries from 45 loads to 14. Excavation was reduced by 25%, and machine time to offload and distribute the 700m of pipe around site was reduced by 80%.

Outcome

Disruption to nearby residents was greatly reduced and the roads and sewers were completed weeks ahead of schedule. Site safety was also significantly improved due to safer and quicker handling and installation of large pipes.

Having trialled Aquaspira pipes on a smaller project, we were keen to see the impact of using them on this much larger site. The benefits in every respect exceeded our expectations and provided a safer and more efficient site for both clients. We will not hesitate to use them on future projects.
